COMMERCIAL/HOSPITALITY DESIGN - INDIVIDUAL & GROUP
The project may be any commercial/hospitality space or part thereof. For example: corporate, healthcare, institutional, hotel, restaurant, spa, club, etc.
RESIDENTIAL DESIGN - INDIVIDUAL & GROUP
The project may be any residential space or part thereof. For example: whole residence, bath, kitchen, bedroom, etc.
UNIQUE SPACE DESIGN - INDIVIDUAL & GROUP
The project may be related to commercial, hospitality, or residential design but it should represent a special or unusual space, such as wine room or a lounge in a private jet.
PRODUCT/OBJECT DESIGN - INDIVIDUAL & GROUP
The project may be tangible or conceptual in nature - A single object or piece - i.e., furniture, lamp, tile, etc. Examples in the past have included creating an app, a demonstration website, a video, and other examples of existing or innovative tools which were used to highlight the design and policy solutions proposed for the site.
FIRST YEAR DESIGN PROJECT - INDIVIDUAL ONLY
Any project created in the first year of a professional interior design program - i.e., models, sketches, rendering, etc.
