JUDGING & DESIGN CRITERIA

Each submission is judged anonymously three (3) times by three (3) different professionals from other ASID chapters.

Each submission will be judged against the ASID Georgia evaluation criteria – not other submissions.

Each submission is judged independently, and the decisions of the judges are final.

At judge’s discretion, your project may be considered for another category and all categories may not receive awards.

Give each entry the best opportunity to be understood and appreciated by the judges by using careful, concise narrative, and outstanding photos. Make sure submitted photos and the design statement narrative support each other.

Judging will focus on the following criteria:

  • Design Statement
  • Project Scope, Criteria, Concept and Solution
  • Creative Design Innovation to the End User
  • Functional and Effective Integration of Architectural Elements & Finishes
  • Aesthetics and Excellence of Design
  • Creative and Functional Use of Space
