HOW TO ENTER

Our online competition site has been enhanced and updated, providing a more user-friendly experience. Please read the following instructions to enter.

You must create an Account Log-In Profile before you start the submission process. Please do NOT use your ASID Membership number and Password to create your login profile.

If you have submitted a project in a previous year, you can use your previous login information. If you have forgotten your password use the PASSSWORD RESET option.

If you have NOT previously submitted a project, you will need to create a NEW Profile, ID and Password.

INFORMATION YOU WILL NEED FOR EACH PROJECT SUBMISSION

  • Entrant ASID Member # with Appellation (ASID, Allied ASID, or Associate ASID)
  • Contributing Design Team Members With ASID Member # With Appellation
  • Contributing Non-ASID Design Team Members
  • Design Statement.4
  • Square Footage of Project Entry if Applicable for Category
  • Project Completion Date
  • Floor Plans to Scale with Scale Noted in PDF Format
  • If Re-submitting a Project – Previous Project Submission Date
  • Each project photograph submitted must be at least 300 dpi.
  • MIN File Size: 2 MB (4MB preferred); MAX File Size: 10MB
  • Photographer’s Name/Firm Authorization Release

4 Design Statement refers directly to the Project Scope, Client Criteria, Design Concept, and the Design Solution. These statements may be used in part or in full during the awards program to describe the winning project.

Client Criteria: Consider both aesthetic & functional criteria, problems and/or challenges, specific project goals, special services provided and/or unique qualities about this project for the judges’ review.

Design Concept: Include the purpose, focus and fundamental concept and intent of your design.  

Design Solution: Highlight choices made to have an outstanding outcome.  Consider referencing details relating to architecture, lighting, furniture, finishes, etc., that are not discernible from the photos or covered in the checklist such as: compressed time frame, low budget, technical features, environmental achievements, etc.
